Student office associate/ graphic designer is needed to assist with office functions, web page updates, and aid in the development of dynamic, effective, and appealing promotional materials for the Equal Opportunity Office. (These materials may include but are not limited to digital and print ads, posters, brochures, handouts and table-tents.) Essential job responsibilities include assisting with office coverage; utilization of office equipment; the processing of training certificates; ensuring timely and accurate response to callers and visitors; answering multi-line phone system, screening callers, taking messages and transferring calls to appropriate person; and other various projects as assigned; editing and manipulating graphics; pre-press production. Successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively.

Demonstrated experience developing and creating unique and engaging print and online graphic pieces. Skills in problem solving and decision-making. Organizational skills, attention to detail, reliability, and work ethic are required. Ability to prioritize, follow through, and meet deadlines are required. Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. MS office skills, especially MSWord and MS Excel; demonstrated expertise using Adobe Creative Suite software, especially Photoshop; InDesign; and Illustrator preferred. Long-term availability is preferred.
