Office Assistant

Reports To: Project Manager or Project Coordinator

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required.

This position provides general administrative assistance.

Provides excellent customer service to vendors, internal, and external customers.

Provides administrative assistance to Project Manager(s), Project Coordinator(s), or Division personnel.

Processes miscellaneous paperwork and reports as needed.

Types and compiles miscellaneous documents.

Assists with reception and phones.

Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

A high school diploma or GED and six months to one year of administrative experience; or

An Associate’s degree and three to six months of administrative experience; or

Any appropriate combination of education and experience as determined by management.


Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word).


Basic knowledge of electrical trade and/or construction is preferred.

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment, but may involve exposure to moderate noise levels from high-speed computer printers and other peripherals. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for two to four hours daily. Occasional travel to various worksites may also be required, depending on assignment.
