The primary function of this position is to manage the company’s various filing systems and ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of the company’s personnel information. This position operates under general guidance or direction, and is responsible for overall accuracy and completeness of office filing. This position supports to a number of supervisors including the Human Resources Department, Operations Manager, and General Manager.
Performs general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, copying, faxing, mailing, and filing
Establishes, organizes, and maintains various files and records
Adds new material to file records and create new files as necessary
Maintains file integrity and operations by adhering to filing system procedures
Finds and retrieves information from files in response to requests from authorized requestors
Modifies and improve filing system as needed
Eliminates/purges outdated or unnecessary materials, destroying them or transferring them to inactive storage according to the Company’s Document Retention and Destruction guidelines
Maintains confidentiality and protects the organization’s reputation by keeping employee information and Company information private
Assists with reception lobby/answers phones as needed
Assembles New Employee Orientation binders/packets
Performs other duties as required and assigned
Participate in all required training sessions, including, but not limited to any mandatory Company training.
Attend and participate in all required meetings, continuing education sessions, or other required attendance programs.
Experience with customer service
Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office.
High School diploma or GED required.
