The Office Coordinator for University Temporary Services (UTS) provides administrative support to the operation including: creating, updating, and maintaining records of temporary employees using Peoplesoft; performing bi-weekly payroll functions; managing billing for receipt-supported operation; and input and maintenance of data in temporary staffing applicant tracking system. The Coordinator also is responsible for answering the main telephone line; greeting customers; interacting with potential employees, current employees, and hiring officials regarding UTS offerings, policies, and procedures; assisting the On-site Coordinator and Placement Specialist in recruitment activities (creating postings, managing temporary pools, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, checking references, etc.).
High School Diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Must have relevant experience in coordinating or managing office activities in a high profile, high traffic, and busy environment. Must understand human resources processes and have advanced abilities with software and online tools. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
