The Office Manager/Accountant

is responsible for day-to-day management of the accounting, financial and operational reporting processes, systems and controls; human resources management and administration; risk management coordination; and performance analysis and improvement of operations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Serve as a key member of the administrative and operational leadership team
• Frequent interaction with and presentation to representatives of the company
• Responsible for all aspects of the general accounting functions of the company, including billing and accounts receivable, product inventory, accounts payable, fixed asset procurement and control, and local cash management
• Responsible for human resource functions of the company, including payroll, employee benefits administration, and employee training and retention programs
• Preparation of regular financial and operational performance reports, including analysis of key performance metrics, for internal management and external financial reporting purposes upon which other members of the senior leadership team can rely to make effective decisions
• Preparation of financial and operational budgeting, planning and forecasting reports, including annual budgets, weekly treasury management and cash flow forecasts, and periodic financial and operational forecast models
• Assist with the development and implementation of corporate policies, procedures and cost savings initiatives
• Prepare and/or review for filing all sales, property, fuel and similar federal, state and local tax reports, and assist in the preparation of federal and state income tax returns for the company
• Assist with financial and tax audits
• Drive continuous productivity improvements in the finance, accounting and operational activities of the company
• Build and foster a departmental and company atmosphere that encourages teamwork, information sharing, and responsiveness to internal and external customers
• Create and build professional relationships with customers, the community, and airport authorities
• Handle confidential information related to the business operations and employees
• Manage procurement of all office supplies (including stationery, supplies, equipment and furniture)
• Responsible to follow and comply with all safety rules and regulations
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned


• Bachelors’ degree preferred but not required
• Minimum of three years recent experience as an Accountant or Office Manager or similar position with responsibilities for operational accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, inventory, and/or credit and collection
• Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
• Strong organizational skills, detail orientated, motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25lbs
