Position Summary

The Office Manager is responsible for administering and managing the day-to-day office administration services and program support for the Albany offices of The Nature Conservancy. S/he will coordinate such activities as central administrative processes including facility management, telecommunications, general maintenance/repairs, vehicle maintenance, central services, mailroom operations, central filing, telephone/public reception, printing, maintaining office supplies, general purchasing requests, and general office duties. S/He coordinates human resources administrative tasks, information systems, contracts administration, financial/accounting issues/activities, and provides other services in support of TNC projects/programs. S/He may also provide high level program support including assisting in the development of communications and/or educational materials, conducting program data research, and/or producing narrative reports as needed. S/he provides guidance to peers in satisfying the administrative requirements on projects/programs based on extensive knowledge of TNC policies and procedures. This position includes frequent interaction with all members within the organization as well as donors, vendors, and business relations. The Office Manager may perform other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience or equivalent.
