Postmates, a thriving local startup in the same day delivery space, is looking for a rockstar Office Manager to support our team in San Francisco. We have a vision to change the way you shop in your city, but we need help!
As the Postmates Office Manager/EA, you will be responsible for a variety tasks throughout the day, from appointment scheduling to ordering office supplies to planning epic team outings. The ideal candidate is a master of organization, has excellent time management skills, can juggle multiple tasks at once, possesses strong communication skills and can anticipate the needs of the office.
Answer office phone, take messages and transfer calls
Coordinate travel arrangements for executive team
Coordinate meetings and manage CEO's schedule
Monitor and order office supplies
General office work such as filing, photocopying, daily mail duties, faxing, etc.
Welcome visitors when they arrive
Act as backup support to Postmates team
2+ years in an administrative or assistant based role
Sense of urgency, follow through to completion, detail oriented
Excellent interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and efficiently
Excellent organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills (grammar nerds wanted)
Naturally outgoing personality
Deliver results on time-sensitive projects
You should be comfortable working in a startup environment and participating in individual and group critiques.
