Provides clerical and administrative support to Probation and Parole Services' staff by keying reports and correspondence from draft, maintaining files, greeting and assisting visitors and callers. Performs keyboarding duties, entering data in agency data systems and fiscal support duties. Leads the work of administrative support positions.
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's License. Recent experience providing customer service and administrative support in a professional office setting including data entry, filing and preparing correspondence. Demonstrated skill in the use of Microsoft Office to include Word, Access and Excel to accomplish office support requirements. Recent experience using office equipment (i.e. computers, printers, copier and fax machine). Ability to interpret and follow oral and written rules and regulations.
Prefer post-secondary courses in office administration or equivalent training or experience in a related field. Prefer working knowledge of a multi-line communication system. Prefer basic knowledge of court terminology.
