Job Description:
DNV (Det Norske Veritas) is an independent foundation

This job resides in the section of DNV that focuses on
safety and environmental risk consulting. Our clients
are in the oil and gas industry, and are often located
in Houston. A significant portion of our work relates to
offshore facilities, and we are seeking additional
experienced consultants to join our highly collaborative
team conducting offshore safety studies.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work in cross functional
consulting teams involved in project delivery, project
management working directly with clients, and business
development. In addition, the candidate will help
developing less experienced consultants through project
execution and coaching.

Job Requirements:
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional individuals

with the following:
  • A relevant technical master's or bachelor's degree in
a field of engineering or related
  • Experience leading/managing offshore QRA studies
  • High level of commitment to project delivery
  • Good knowledge of industry standard approaches and
services in safety/risk engineering
  • Ability to execute and verify mathematical modeling of
offshore safety risk using various tools
  • Strong client-focused communication skills
  • Previous risk consulting experience
  • Safety Case knowledge is also an advantage
