Job description:
The Web Technology Developer and Quality Analyst - Omni Channel identifies and supports the Omni Channel platforms (eCommerce, mobile, and in store systems) by participating the design, implementation and maintenance of Omni systems. Developer/Analyst will optimize Omni experiences through package configuration and web development as business requirements dictate. Analyst will additionally be responsible for designing quality standards and defining release management approach and monitoring policies.
Individual will additionally assist the team in solution monitoring as well as managing and prioritizing daily tickets and system support issues.

Individual will assist in managing a diverse array of Omni channel systems including externally maintained package applications, customer portal, mobile and ERP systems supporting PETSMARTS Omni Functions.

Responsibilities include:

- Work internally and externally with partners to develop application options to resolve a business need.
- As necessary develop functional use cases including application capability, complexity analysis, risks, implementation dependencies and impact analysis.

- Executes complex application development configuration changes to meet functional requirement needs.
Independently develops and creates complex custom objects (user interface, queries, reports and integrations) for applications.
-Creates and performs data migration for select applications.
-Investigates system improvement and streamlining opportunities. Creates functional plans and communicates recommended changes to business teams.
- As necessary, guides vendor design work and ensures deliverables are high quality.
- Attains high level of proficiency with vendor products to be able to perform broad vendor design activities.
- Ensures proposed system changes are supported by application vendor.

- Executes complex application development configuration changes to meet functional requirement needs.
- Independently develops and creates complex custom objects (user interface, queries, reports and integrations) for applications
- Manages vendor and prioritizes vendor build activities
- Build and configure localized system changes as necessary
- Investigates system improvement and streamlining opportunities.
- Creates functional plans and communicates recommended changes to business teams.
- Identifies and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions.

- Work with business to confirm solutions satisfy business requirements
- Develops testing approach and strategy to accurately test business requirements for complex projects.
- Supports UAT efforts through application readiness, preparation of test environments, and creation of data and user profiles.
- Able to identify and apply appropriate testing methodology and tools.
- Defines and validate QA processes and standards have been followed and completed prior to deployment.

- Define broad standards for testing including adherence to web standards, optimized experience, maximum utilization across device and platform , and legal assessment of technologies and content deployed.
- Schedules, Coordinates and deploys software changes conforming with company and team standards.
- Defines appropriate implementation, test and backout plans for complex changes.
- Assess organization level of preparedness for the change and impact to other systems.

- Assist in managing and prioritizing daily tickets and system support issues
- Acquires knowledge of, creates and maintains Operations and System support documentation.
- Develop detailed monitoring capabilities and execution plans

- Proficient knowledge of HTMLx. CSS, and JavaScript
- Expertise with with .NET, java, C#, Objective C
- Experience with CMS and open source CMS
- Experience with IOS and Android apps packing
- Experience designing and configuring Intershop's eCommerce platform

Experience/Education Required
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

- 7+ years experience developing and supporting eCommerce, mobile and internet facings web systems
