On Call - On Air Sales Coordinator
The On-Air Sales Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing various interactive media and sales support elements for the live show including, social media, Ask HSN, testimonial calls and Customer Picks. This newly created role will drive social engagement with the customer and react on-air to the customer’s voice. The On-Air Sales Coordinator will contribute to the On-Air Producer’s sales & content strategy for each show block and throughout the day. This individual will drive and impact interactive customer content pushing boundaries within HSN’s multi-platform format.

The below functions will constitute about 30% of the role
Drive & integrate HSN social media sites (Twitter, Facebook) to maximize and develop customer engagement in the live show.
Generate ideas and follow through on strategies for social media postings and show content as it relates to specific events and show blocks.
Ensure consistency of messages across all social platforms.
React and respond to live data and find opportunities to integrate into the live show to drive engagement and sales.
Attend Live Show pre-pro meetings and strategize with Producer on social content.
Responsible to report back findings on successes and challenges as we continue to develop our overall social media strategy.
Research and monitor customer picks reviews and ways to work into HSN show format.
Drive HSN mobile chat site and relay pertinent info to producer.
Act as an advocate on behalf of the customers interacting with the Live Show, ensuring a good customer experience.
These functions will comprise about 70% of the role

Screen incoming calls from multiple sources to provide appropriate sales driven testimonials as sales tools for the Live Show
Maintain accurate tracking and reporting live show call statistics as it relates to company and departmental business needs.
Maintain accurate and current show activation, which controls the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system, tracking each item that receives sales time on-air.
Must have knowledge/experience in social networking and how to drive content & engagement.
1 - 2 years experience in live television or equivalent degree
Must be able to confidently interact with Producer in pushing to get media content on air.
Must have excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
Must be able to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.
Must be able to multitask and handle multiple and simultaneous information sources.
Must have an ability to be proactive in handling issues as needed in a calm and professional manner.
Must be able to work independently and proactively with all daily responsibilities.
Must be comfortable and professional in dealing with high profile callers and leadership daily.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
Strong Interest in Producing Career track.
Previous experience in Customer Service.
Must be flexible in a 24/7 TV Environment
