Responsible for processing mail and packages, keeping accurate records and familiarity with postal equipment, as well as ability to interact with students and employees in friendly professional manner and perform specialized duties as described below.
? Process incoming, outgoing and College mail and packages, including forwarding of mail
? Pick up, sort and deliver mail as required
? Assign mail boxes for faculty, staff and students as required
? Ensure outgoing mail conforms to United States Post Office rates and requirements
? Maintain facilities to sell stamps
? Operate computerized, electronic, and automated mailing equipment
? Certify and insure College mail where required
? Maintain a faculty, staff, student package area
? Distribute flyers as indicated on job tickets
? Operate post office vehicles as assigned
? Log and capture mail volumes and meter readings
? Maintain an interest in learning new ideas
? Establish and maintain a high level of customer service
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); proficiency with computers and/or computer courses required.
