The On-Site Asset Lifecycle Management Technician or On-Site ALM Tech is responsible for data center asset lifecycle management and warehouse support in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Shipping and Receiving.
Asset-tagging of new hardware.
Inter-company asset transfers.
Write process documents.
Coordinate activities with team members and other internal departments.
Ensure cleanliness of Warehouse and other storage areas.
Perform spot-checks on asset inventory.
Audit off-system parts and components.
Report and file damage claims.
Special projects assigned by lead, supervisor or other management.
Comply with all safety standards policies set by client or other controlling authority.
Good interpersonal skills for working in a team environment.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Time management skills.
Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing conditions or circumstances.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
Experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and browser software.
Ability to learn new software.
High School diploma.
Forklift certification a plus.
