Receive calls for placement of clients during non-business hours. Position is paid per diem.
Must be available approximately 4:30 p.m. - 8:30 a.m., including overnight hours, when on call
Receive phone call requests for immediate placement of children from outside entities, including but not limited to County Department of Social Services (DSS) workers, Office of Mental Health (OMH) workers, Parsons Mobile Crisis Team workers
Confirm calling agent is an authorized representative of appropriate referral organization
Gather all pertinent information regarding request for placement
Determine level of care that is being requested
Maintain continuous knowledge of placement program utilization and vacancies
Complete the admission with the appropriate program/provider
Complete required documentation (e.g., Log Sheet) and notifications as required
Bachelors degree or equivalent level of education and experience.
Knowledge and familiarity with Parsons programs and systems.
Must possess strong communication and customer service skills.
