The Oncology Nurse Educator ONE is responsible for educational and training needs of oncology customers including supporting the design and development of oncology educational programs including in-services, nurse disease management guidelines, and assisting oncology support group meetings for patients within the community. He/she assist in the identification and development of Regional and National oncology speakers as well as product education and training to internal customers. The ONE will provide in-services for Oncology customers supporting the Oncology products while demonstrating expert knowledge of the competitive Oncology products and drug therapy and adverse event management. He/she helps identify and develop optimal rapport with influential oncology nurse customers and represents the oncology organization with major clinical customers, state societies, ONS chapters and dominant practice management groups. The ONE represents an expert background and knowledge in Oncology treatment guidelines, reimbursement, public policy, and health care trends. He/she demonstrates a team approach, helps identify unique sales opportunities and assist with appropriate training for business meetings and business planning. Candidate possesses a strong Oncology clinical expertise and ability to articulate and communicate complex information and a willingness and ability to travel 30% or more overnight travel.

Detailed Requirements:

BSN Required and/or MSN preferred and/or OCN or AOCN certification

Minimum five years Oncology nursing experience with Oncology nurse education experience. Background experience in the delivery of chemotherapy with Oral therapy and Lung Cancer therapy preferred.

Candidate possesses strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills as well as strong oral and written communication skills.

Proficient in power point presentation and slide creation, excel and microsoft word.

4-6 years of Leadership experience
