The online producer is responsible for producing a series of daily e-newsletters and for managing content on, a daily news website which hosts a number of other editorial products including industry research reports, surveys, and event summaries. The online producer reports to the senior online editor. This is a production job within an editorial department.

Key responsibilities:
• Posts all content to the site using CMS
• Ensures and maintains accuracy and editorial integrity of site content
• Produces and ships 15 e-newsletters weekly, per scheduled deadlines
• Aggregates online news content for a daily feature
• Troubleshoots HTML issues
• Adds value to website by editing, building, and posting images, slideshows, and other interactive elements such as tables, charts, and supporting documents
Attention to detail, organization, project management and time management skills are essential. The producer must have strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, image editing and CMS tools, as well as experience using social media tools such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. This position works an early morning shift M-F, 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Functional knowledge of Javascript, HTML5, and familiarity with data scraping and other data journalism tools.
SKILLS & ABILITIES: Online content production skills, knowledge of various web tools outlined above.
Education: 4yr degree in English, Journalism, or related
Experience: entry-level
Computer Skills: Word, HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Excel, FTP, CMS, HTML5, Javascript, data scraping tools
