This position will sit in our Pitney Bowes Management Services business unit. This business unit helps our customers compete more effectively by taking care of critical yet non-core services to allow them to focus on what they do best. These services include: professional consulting, mail-and-document management and managed output services to integrated content management. We are currently seeking an Operation Director- Public Sector ADF Operations. The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth. This position will be located in our Tallahassee, FL location. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Recruits and manages core operational and technical staff through development, testing and steady state operational phases.
Establishes program/project direction, translates it into achievable objectives, assign resources and project personnel tasks. Motivates the project team to effectively execute.
Provides training and coaching to all employees assigned a given project to ensure a successful project for the customer and PBMS.
Communicates with all employees on a project to ensure awareness of project deadlines and other customer expectations.
Directly interface with customer to ensure positive relations throughout the life of projects. Maintains high levels of client satisfaction while balancing demands to optimize quality results while satisfying corporate project objectives.
Continuously improves knowledge and skill set to ensure customers receive the highest possible value and return on their investment.
Represents PBMS with the highest degree of professionalism in all situations.
Adherence to Six Sigma standards and methodology.
Establishes positive interactions built on trust and integrity when relating to a wide variety of superiors and peers to assure company and project success. Sufficient interpersonal skills to be an effective project team member.
Makes and implements decisions necessary to assure quality performance in the best interest of PBMS and the customer. Communicates issues to team members, managers and customers in a timely manner. Asks for assistance when necessary.
Performs all tasks and duties consistent with best practices, high standards and diligent work habits, acting as a leader by example.
Support and interface with onsite PBMS personnel and/or Customer with regards to problems associated with application, hardware, software and connectivity issues.
Interface with vendor support reps to isolate and solve technical issues – initiate escalation process as necessary
Provides demonstration assistance, training and problem resolution to customers and PBMS onsite operation personnel
Assist and support PBMS sales, operations and any specialist to requiring details of the solutions and environment
Assist and support sales team by providing technical support in sales presentation, RFP response and development, and PBMS Integrated Account Reviews when required
Develop and execute implementation plans for selected solutions and coordinate with customer and third-party resources

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of three (3) years of managing multiple locations
Minimum of three (3) years of directly applicable transactional mail services business experience required
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and deliver them to a successful conclusion
Knowledge of Six Sigma principles including
Highly proficient use of Microsoft Excel as an analysis and stratification tool
Experience in an ISO registered or compliant operation
Experience with SAS70/SSAE16 requirements and controls
Ability to mentor, train and coach all levels of team members
Capacity to solve routine client problems by understanding the situation and applying technical knowledge and established company protocols
Solid understanding of management methodologies in the transactional mail and document imaging
Direct experience within the Public sector
Experience with HIPAA controls and handling of PHI
Ability to manage use of time, concentrate on vital issues and maintain focus in achieving project milestones
Exceptional command of the written and spoken language to convey thoughts, ideas, recommendations and technical information in a clearly understood and concise manner. Ability to effectively raise issues and concerns with others in a way that maintains trust and credibility
Capacity to hear other points of view, to understand the core dimensions and to use the content in a constructive manner
