Support the Station Operations Supervisor with coordination of station services and activities. Demonstrates proficient operation of GSE and UGSE. Knows and adheres to aircraft, vehicle and employee safety rules and regulations. Understands and complies with UGSE inspections processes. Communicates issues of concern to management. Inspects aircraft cargo, identifies unsafe and insecure cargo and ensures problems are addressed and corrected, or brought to the attention of a supervisor. Completes paperwork and reports, including pallet off-inventory, on-hand inventory, pallet/net/strap reports and lock/net discrepancy reports. Provide ground handling support for arriving and departing aircraft. Certified in all aspects of LCF operations including all the positions related to operation of UGSE. Assist in the operation of freighter cargo loading system controls under supervision of qualified loadmaster. Performs inspections on ground and related equipment and reports any discrepancies to proper Supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned, including GSE and UGSE maintenance and assisting with basic corrosion control and prevention maintenance. Perform basic TRAX support functions for GSE/UGSE (issue parts/receive parts/inventory verification).
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous airline experience preferable.
- High school or equivalent work experience.
- Valid state issued vehicle driver license.
