This position also carries out analytical assignments that are varied and possibly difficult. Additional responsibilities include: Key Responsibilities
Represents the interests of Assurant as the daily point of contact for assigned service providers from an operations perspective, and ensures efficient service and satisfaction of our customers.
Supports and nurtures an ongoing relationship with the client account executive and operational teams to ensure contractual obligations are being fulfilled.
Provides systems, administrative, and operational support in assisting with the development and implementation of new or existing products, processes and accounts.
Coordinates responses to complaints concerning client issues; determines veracity of such, and coordinates corrective action and/or replies.
Coordinates and compiles research for legal cases; ensures complete accurate and timely responses on behalf of the Assurant Legal Department.
Prepares customers for implementation by planning and coordinating training, procedural documentation and all other functional requirements.
Coordinates post-implementation quality checks to ensure integrity, adhering to customer service standards and analyzing and providing overall support to internal and external customers.
Remains abreast of developments in the field of hazard insurance and hazard insurance outsourcing, process improvements, and project management by pursuing a program of self-development.
Qualifications Required skills/experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Strong influencing and analytical skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Excellent follow-up skills and ability to meet aggressive deadlines
Ability to adapt easily as procedure/client needs change
Creative, results-oriented, and detail-focused with a high level of integrity and customer focus
Must be PC literate and have a basic knowledge working in a Windows environment: MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Visio
Minimum of two years of progressively more responsibility, preferably with expertise in mortgage servicing or project management
Demonstrated ability to manage projects of varying sizes
Demonstrated ability facilitating meetings and working with senior level managers
PC testing required-Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to travel if needed
Desired skills/experience
Experience in hazard insurance/mortgage banking industry
Working knowledge of Assurant Operational systems
