Monitors and assesses activities in providing ground handling services. Duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing reports and records to ascertain data required for planning department operations; monitoring and assessing all fueling and ground handling functions and ensuring workers and equipment are available when and where needed; maintaining effective relations with customers; direct involvement in budgetary process for Operations Department; investigating causes of accidents and recommending safety measures for preventing further occurrences; carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws; ensuring disciplinary procedures are conducted in a fair, timely, and consistent manner; upholding the company's commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity; reporting all accidents and injuries and investigating ways to prevent reoccurrence; ensuring employees successfully complete company's training program; and the ability to comply with attendance/tardiness standards.
