The Operations Manager is the primary liaison between Logistics, Factory, Warehouses, and the Sales Staff, Installers, End Customers and Distributors. The primary purpose of the position is to coordinate and manage the Operations support functions.
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for order processing and related customer service functions.
Responsible for the accuracy of customer service data and pricing in SAP.
Responsible for fulfilling internal request for equipment for shows and promotions.
Responsible for processing all MDF orders with factories
Coordinate with Accounting and Credit for accurate invoicing and credit availability
Responsible for inventory control of all products including demo units
Direct and manage the research and resolution of pricing and shipping claims and disputes.
Responsible for tracking domestic and international shipments (work with Import/Export)
Work with Service/Engineering on warranty/repair claims
Train and direct appropriate Operations support staff to assist in meeting these objectives.
The non-essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
Performs other job functions as assigned.
Independent self-starter with 5 years experience in Sales Support, Logistics and Order Entry/Processing
College degree or Technical School Training. Work experience may be substituted.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word)
Working experience of SAP is a plus.
Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.
