The entire Operations team ensures rapid processing of DVDs and makes sure the promises we make to customers are honored.

The Netflix Operations Manager directly impacts the success of the company by effectively managing our employees and processes to quickly and efficiently provide the correct playable DVD to our customers in a consistent manner.

This position is an autonomous, multi-functional, hands-on management opportunity. You will manage a workforce of Operations Associates who are responsible for rapid processing of DVD’s ensuring quality and accuracy.

Overall accountability/responsibility for all aspects of DVD distribution.
Hub Operations including but not limited to: Production, Facilities, Systems, Logistics, Materials, Health & Safety and Employment.
Hands-on supervisory position - Supervision and problem solving of operations and workflow issues. Resolving day-to-day issues.
Being the first line of defense with troubleshooting equipment/automation.
Training employees on all aspects of hub operations (DVD processing, DVD inspection and machine operations).
Ensuring productivity of Operations staff: using metrics effectively to make business decisions.
Conduct safety meetings as outlined by Regional Manager and Human Resources.
Provides a consistent message to employees regarding production goals and expectations.
Ability to manage the HR process (employee relations, workers compensation).
Developing and preparing team members to move into larger roles – developing bench strength.


5-7 years direct experience managing a large sized (25+ employees) direct labor population in a production, assembly, fast food environment
Ability to analyze production data and report to Regional Manager
Experience and solid understanding of with Process Management, Inventory Control, and Quality Assurance in a production environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills in all areas of responsibility.
Able to clearly communicate expectations, issues, and feedback
Ability to garner the loyalty and trust of direct reports
Proficiency in applications such as the Internet, email, Word, and Excel.
Experience setting up computer systems, installing hardware/software.
First level troubleshooting of hardware and software.
Must have a can do attitude with a sense of urgency and dedication to the success of the overall business mission.
Ability to drive company vehicle.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

College degree preferred.
