Watco Terminal and Port Services has an immediate opening for an Operator in our Dore, ND location. We are looking to recruit a safety conscious team player who possesses a commitment to service, rigorous attention to detail and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
Duties of a Pumper Operator:
This position will be responsible for inspecting railcars, preparing equipment, operating machinery and equipment, completing paperwork and performing these tasks in a cost effective and efficient manner.
X Operate in a manner where SAFETY and ENVIRONMENT are of the highest importance;
X Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence;
X Climb onto top and underneath railcars in order to inspect and seal railcars using a checklist
X Perform equipment and machinery inspections as required;
X Prepare equipment and/or product for transfer;
X Responsible for the operation as it relates to pipelines, compressors, auxiliary, equipment, engines, pump stations, pumps, valves and other related equipment;
X Start, stop, and operate engines/pumps within defined operating parameters;
X Ensure the cost effective and efficient performance of all engines, pumps and associated equipment at the compressor stations and pipelines;
X Complete all applicable documentation and recordkeeping;
X Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, regulatory requirements; and
X Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements of Successful Operator:
X Recipient of a High School Diploma or equivalent;
X Proven experience of at least one (1) year in a customer service role;
X Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance;
X Ability to work with a team, take direction and follow work rules, as well as, take on additional job responsibilities as needed;
X Must be able to work twelve hours shifts with the potential for a rotating schedule;
X Must possess a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company and its insurers.
X Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
