The Oracle E-Business Technical/Functional Specialist is responsible for the performance, functionality and reliability of the Oracle EBS specifically: CRM Foundation, Install Base, Service Contracts, Tele-Service, Advanced Pricing and Support. Assists in ensuring 24x7 application software availability in support of mission critical business requirements. This position will function as both production and development support. Design and develop CEMLIs (Configuration/Customization, Extension, Modification, Localization and Integration). Works with the management team to establish strategies and priorities for the overall enterprise by analyzing and understanding the current and future applications needs in order to formulate and recommend technology plans to keep pace with the business demands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
: Ensure service level availability of the Oracle applications and provide on-call support on a 24x7 basis for break/fix/enhancement activities to resolve application issues.
: Support and maintain Oracle EBS Financials, Service Contracts, Advance Pricing, Order to Cash applications.
: Work on Oracle 12i application upgrade projects and support.
: Assist with the planning of application changes, development and installation of upgrades and new releases. This involves interacting with Development teams, Business Process Owners and Infrastructure teams
: Establishes and maintains positive business relationships with managers and staff in their functional areas, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the business, their processes, and their priorities; Ensures that system functionality and performance meet current and future business requirements.
: Act as a primary liaison for all business users for support and project related activities. Coordinate and work with onsite and offshore development and support teams.
: Work with Oracle support to resolve product related bugs and patch upgrades.
: Work with process owners and identify information technology solutions to enable business process improvements and serve as trusted advisor and Subject Matter expert to the business regarding how the system can be used to support desired business processes and requirements.
: Work on Business process reengineering, System Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Solution Design & Development, Testing and Implementation. Guide users in formulating requirements, advice on alternatives and on the implications of new or revised processing analysis.
: Setup, configure, design, develop, implement, test and validate Oracle EBS modules and custom extensions/enhancements. Develop, review and execute the system test Scripts, perform end to end testing of business processes.
: Ability to function as lead and manage projects relating to Oracle EBS applications.
: Develop, document and enforce application standards and procedures
: Prepare user training guides and conduct training workshops.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
: Experience with designing, developing, implementing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite 12i and 11i Oracle EBS applications.
: Must have working experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Order management, Service Contracts, Advance pricing, Inventory, Purchasing, iReceivables and order to cash applications
: Proficient in Oracle E-Business Suite 12i and 11i Technical foundation, application architecture.
: Experience with AIM and BPM application implementation methodologies
: Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Tuning and using TOAD
: Must have experience with Oracle Applications API's, Oracle Applications Technology foundation, design and development using tools Oracle Forms, reports, Workflow, XML Publisher, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Database and SQL loader.
: Experience with Application Object Library (AOL), Concurrent Manager and Flex fields.
: Experience with SDLC, designing and developing CEMLIs (Configuration/Customization, Extension, Modification, Localization and Integration).
: Experience with OA Framework, 12i and 11i Forms Personalization, Oracle JDeveloper, and Self Service forms.
: Experience working with conversion and interfaces programs between Oracle 11i and legacy applications.
: Flexible, self-directed and motivated individual, able to accommodate to shifting priorities.
: Requires excellent communication, written skills, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
: Experience working with system integration, data mapping, data conversions, interfaces and validation.
: Self-starter, who can work independently, follow through and complete tasks with a minimum of oversight and ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and must be a team player
: Experience with System Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Design and Development. Guide users in formulating requirements, advice on alternatives and on the implications of new or revised processing analysis.
: Ability to provide on-call support, and zeal to learn and develop on newer technology tools and skills.
: Knowledge of Accounting and Finance business processing will be a plus.
: Knowledge of other Oracle E-Business Suite financials modules will be a plus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education and experience equivalent to:
: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, or a business related field with 5 - 8 years experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
: Proven track record in designing, developing, configuring, implementing and supporting Oracle EBS applications
This position requires completion of most work functions in a general office environment. Some work and meetings may require some evening and weekend participation
