A local manufacturing company is seeking a highly organized and efficient Order Entry / Shipping Clerk to keep us running at optimum performance and ensure the utmost quality to our clients. We will rely on you to perform the following:
Work closely with Production to determine when product is ready to ship Obtain shipping information Communicate with Customer Service to ensure that paperwork has been received and is correct Quote potential outbound shipments using the Internet, e-mail or telephone Set-up shipments with carriers and schedule pick up of freight Maintain shipping files Meet with companies to ensure that we are obtaining best prices possible Source any new companies and obtain pricing structure Prepare documentation using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
High School diploma or equivalent Strong understanding of MS Office Exceptional customer service skills Strong organizational skills Forklift experience a plus Ability to lift up to 10-20 pounds Experience with multi-line telephone systems, copy and fax machines Bilingual a plus(English/Spanish) CDL A/B a plus
