Coordinate undergraduate recruitment for out-of-state students focusing primarily in NJ, MD and DE. Develop and make presentations to students, parents and school counselors at college fairs, high school visits and university visits. Create and sustain relationships with assigned applicants; review files; make decisions about admissions; establish schedules for campus visits. Interview prospective, applied and admitted students. Assist with diversity recruitment, enrollment initiatives and all on-campus special events related to new student enrollment. Maintain correspondence related to recruitment, enrollment, and retention efforts. Other duties as assigned.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday; evening and weekend work and extensive travel.
Salary: $43,599 annually, with comprehensive benefits including undergraduate tuition waiver for employee/dependents. Millersville graduate tuition waiver for employee.
Bachelor's degree. At least 1 year successful full-time professional experience in college Admissions Office. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills. Demonstrated evidence of commitment to diversity and equity. Valid driver's license. Ability to travel extensively. Successful interview and presentation.
