Shift: Days, M-F 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm.
Workweek: FT, 40 hrs/wk
To code and abstract Specialty Care outpatient practice medical records for the purposes of billing, reporting, and data collection utilizing ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 guidelines as well as upcoming ICD-10 guidelines. Associate will be required to work at multiple facilities.
Formal Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1 year
Education Requirements: Successful completion of college-level Anatomy Physiology and Medical Terminology courses is required
Experience Desired: 3 Years as a Certified Coder
Certification Desired: Certified Coder
Skill Requirements: Successful completion of college-level Anatomy Physiology and Medical Terminology courses is required
