Summary
Market and sell ( on a worldwide basis ) the complete line of John Bean Sewer Jetters

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify prospective customers based on information from industry contacts , industry ads, trade shows, websites and other sources
  • Travel, as needed, to call on regular and prospective customers to complete order process or demonstrate equipment
  • Prepare and monitor quotes, credit terms and sale s contracts for orders obtained
  • Prepare report of business transact ions and submit expense accounts (monthly )
  • Work with inside sales representatives to keep account activ ities and literature up to date
  • Prepare brochures and provide information to update website
  • Coordinate customer training at time of delivery
  • Obtain credit profile information, as needed
  • Develop and maintain relatio nships with vendor base (i.e. stay on top of tier 4 rules)
  • Investigate and resolve cu stomer issues
  • Attend trade shows
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager
Minimum Qualifications
  • Mechanical ability – demonstrate sewer jetting equipment for customers
  • Problem solving – gather and analyze information, develop alternative solutions and work well in g roup problem solving situations
  • Project management – develop annual plan and c o mmunicate changes and progress
  • Customer s ervice – r esp ond promptly to customer needs, s olicit customer feedback to improve service and m eet commitments
  • Oral c ommunication – s peak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situati ons
  • Written c ommunication – must be able to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Teamwork – c ontribute to buil ding positive team
  • Business a cumen – intense focus on profitability and d emonstrate knowledge of market and competition
Education and/or Experience
Bach elor’ s degree from four year college or university and 2-5 years related experience in heavy duty commercial equipment sales

Computer Skills
Microsoft Office Software

Salary and Other
Salary plus commission, company vehicle, computer, reasonable expenses, phone allowance provided. Must live in the Lagrange, GA area. Relocation expenses will not be paid by employer.
