Overview We ’re looking for someone who is quick thinking, has a relentlessly positive outlook and is willing to push down walls to go after goals. What you will be doing Building a territory and team for outside sales of commercial and residential lighting control and motorized shades (think SmartHomes). That ’s a big, bold task, and doing it well requires drive and clear thinking.

Many can be taught to sell, but few have the confidence, professionalism, and positivity to make the wheels turn straighter and faster every month. Our salespeople do. They speak with clarity and confidence, take responsibility for their work, ask questions when necessary, and most importantly allow the client to focus on their priorities while we focus on ours. You ’ll be working from home a couple days a week and within a 150 mile territory to visit clients on other days. Entertaining clients on a regular basis is encouraged and hosting trainings or classes can be done at our company training facility. You ’ll have side-by-side guidance for a couple weeks and be given manufacturer training to make you confident with the products. Once you ’re fine-tuned to the process, you ’ll begin creating and following leads and maintaining long-standing customer relationships.

Required Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Minimum two years of experience in sales Ability to think clearly and logically through complex situations Strong influencing/ selling skills Strong planning and organization skills Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Desired Skills Direct national account responsibility Sold in a structured environment Have used Salesforce or sales methodology Enterprise level sales - have opened accounts at Fortune1000 or above Have exceeded sales quotas in past roles Have worked in a collaborative team sales setting Have taken sales training courses, such as Miller/Heiman, Power-base selling, Target account selling, Enterprise level selling, Solution selling, and / or Consultative sales Offering: Competitive salary with commission based on experience Full benefits (Health, Dental, Retirement) Profit sharing “Unlimited ” Vacation after 18 months of employment
