We are a Queens-based Janitorial Supply company that services apartment buildings as well as commercial office buildings in the New York Metropolitan Area. We are looking for an outside account representative to cover existing territories with *“proven business and tremendous growth potential”*. The Company has been in business for 57 years with an outstanding reputation.
- The outside sales representative must posses experience in marketing to public schools.
- The outside sales representative must possess a minimum of 2+ years in outside sales, experience in janitorial/maintenance supplies and cold calling experience.
- The outside sales representative will reach his or her business targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer’s sites.
- Job duties will include but not limited to overcoming objections of prospective customers, build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth, generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue.
- Sales representatives must always maintain a professional demeanor, tact, diplomacy and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner and actively manage call schedules to adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner.
We are located in Queens, NY. You must have access to a car. Position is salaried and commission is based on territorial growth. The Company also offers health insurance; car allowance, 401k plan and a company issued cell phone.
