Position Summary: The Sales Representative is responsible for all the duties involved in the WDPI sales process. Those responsibilities include the development of new business opportunities through quality lead generation, active cold-calling/prospecting, support and grow local existing accounts, achieving EGP, margin and related sales objectives, territory/account growth in accordance with company business' goals, product knowledge, knowledge of system tools, documentation of customer data and fulfilling both internal and external customer's expectations.This position requires a sales-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and self-management principles. The individual must have the ability to interact effectively with customers, internal departments and management in order to successfully achieve targeted goals. This position reports to the Cisco/Wintel Sales Manager/Broker. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Proficiently position and sell all of WDPI's product and service offerings utilizing the Hardware Lifecycle Management (HLM) sales approach. Analyze customer territories and develop strategic sales plan to target top customer accounts.Ability to support EGP growth and margin goals through active prospecting via multiple communication methods, including cold calling, email, marketing campaigns and/or in person meeting with viable customers and prospects..Actively gain new accounts and grow existing accounts while attaining Equipment Gross Product (EGP) and margin goals and other sales metrics. Contact sales leads provided by the Marketing Department in order to develop new business opportunities.Generate new sales leads through customer referrals and other business sources.Partner with Sales Brokers to maximize inventory management levels.Actively participate in WDPI's cross-sale program.Proficiently build customer relationships with WDPI.Utilize sales force automation, inventory management ERP tools to facilitate and document sales processes.Ensure WDPI's business integrity by following Sales Policies and Procedures.Actively participate in department meetings and WDPI Best Practices. Attend team and company meetings/trainings as required. Essential Qualifications: This position requires a sales-oriented individual with a hard work ethic and self-management principles. The individual must have the ability to interact effectively with customers and management to successfully integrate the customer to WDPI.Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with equivalent work experience.Previous outside sales and prospecting experience Strong knowledge of Cisco productsDesire to grow your sales career.Strong work ethic and self-management principles.Tenacious, aggressive attitude with the ability to facilitate the entire sales process.Ability to grasp technical terminology and concepts.Ability to build customer relationships with WDPI. Strong interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver effective presentations internal and external to the organization.Effective planning, organizational and negotiation skills.Ability to prioritize multi-task in a time-sensitive environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record Desired Qualifications: 2 5 years of previous B2B sales experience with proven success developing a book of business, new accounts and/or a sales territory.Prior experience selling IT solutions including hardware, software, services, consulting, etc. Physical Job Requirements: Regularly required to visit customersMay occasionally be required to travel outside local territoryAbility to read and comprehend work-related information.Ability to take work direction. Work Environment: Ability to work a minimum of 40 hrs. Monday Friday during the core business hours of 7:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. Ability to meet customer coverage as required by territory/accounts time zone differences.Ability to work productively with frequent distractions/interruptions.Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented workplace.
