Company Information: Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. (YAP) is one of the largest non-profit Youth and Family Support agencies working with high-risk youth and their families in the United States. Currently, YAP employs more than 2,000 plus dedicated workers and serves approximately 12,000 families per year. Our mission is to engage human service systems so that they rely less on institutional care and invest more in supporting families and neighborhoods. We currently work with child welfare, juvenile justice, behavioral health, disability, and education systems to develop and offer community-based alternatives for the highest risk children, young people, young adults and families.

Summary of the Position: This position is responsible for providing direct rehabilitation services and needs assessments to the child and family. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker develops and ensures that all components of the child's individual rehabilitation plan (IRP) are being implemented. The position supervises the direct care staff who, at minimum have a bachelor's degree in a human service related field. The person in this position adheres to and carries out the YAP philosophy, mission and core principles.

Qualifications/Requirements: Master's Degree in mental health related field such as psychology, social worker or related discipline and licensed in New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with one to two years related experience providing rehabilitative services and needs assessment . Criminal background checks child abuse clearances are required.

Position requires: Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and minimum car insurance limits of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability. This position requires background checks to be completed at the time of hire and annually.
