Company Information: Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. (YAP) is one of the largest non-profit Youth and Family Support agencies working with high-risk youth and their families in the United States. Currently, YAP employs more than 2,000 plus dedicated workers and serves approximately 12,000 families per year. Our mission is to engage human service systems so that they rely less on institutional care and invest more in supporting families and neighborhoods. We currently work with child welfare, juvenile justice, behavioral health, disability, and education systems to develop and offer community-based alternatives for the highest risk children, young people, young adults and families.

Summary of the Position: Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. of Orlando, Florida is looking for a bilingual Spanish speaking candidate holding a Florida License and Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, or social work. This is a supervisory/hands on position providing therapeutic services to children, youth, and families with Autism or other Axis I diagnoses. Duties include but not limited to: direct therapy/counseling, treatment plan development and implementation of treatment plans, clinical oversight of clinic operations and clinical supervision for direct care staff who, at minimum have a bachelor's degree in a human service related field. The person in this position adheres to and carries out the YAP philosophy, mission and core principles.

Qualifications/Requirements: Bilingual Spanish speaker holding a Master's Degree in a mental health related field such as counseling, psychology or social work and licensed in the state of Florida with one to two years related experience providing clinical services. Criminal background checks child abuse clearances are required.
