Under limited direction will be responsible for answering telephone inquiries, process financial transactions in a positive, courteous and efficient manner. Provide counsel to new and existing members in regards to the various credit union services and investment opportunities available, with an emphasis on all current promotions. Perform assigned teller tasks associated with the processing of member transactions as required. These transactions include, but are not limited to, member inquiries, processing mail, and authorized account changes. May assist members with opening new accounts (Regular Shares, Share Draft, Money Market, Term Accounts, IRA's, etc.), cross-sell other credit union services. Responsible to maintain a thorough working knowledge of credit union policies and procedures. Shift: 12pm to 6pm/30hrs per week.
One year experience within a financial institution. Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision. Effective organizational and communication skills, with an emphasis on telephone personality. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Spectrum.
High school graduate or equivalent.
