HCST is celebrating 20 successful years in providing outsourced IT services to small and medium sized businesses in the Dayton and Springfield areas. Services provided to clients include PC Support, Network Support, Server Support, Phone Support, and Hardware Installation.
HCST Help Desk Technician(s) are responsible for answering incoming phone calls, and providing first-level support for a wide variety of IT issues. The goal of the Help Desk Technician is to accurately gather the necessary details of a callers request, and address as many issues as possible on the phone or via remote access through our Network Management and Ticketing systems. Other issues are escalated to higher level staff as necessary.
Some travel to local clients may be required for those situations where phone or remote support is not possible or feasible. Technician must have reliable transportation -- HCST reimburses for mileage.
The Help Desk technicians are designed as entry-level positions, but a familiarity with (primarily) Windows-based workstations, Email clients (Outlook and other MS Exchange, POP and IMAP clients), web browsers, and malware detection and removal are necessary.
HCST values individuals with a demonstrated ability to perform work accurately, communicate effectively, and display motivation to learn new technologies and processes.
