Regular, Full-Time, RCUH Non-Civil Service position with the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, Pacific Center for Primary Care and Health Equity, Guam STRIVE Project, located in Guam. Continuation of employment is dependent upon program/operational needs, satisfactory work performance, availability of funds, and compliance with applicable Federal/State laws.

MINIMUM MONTHLY SALARY: $1,799/Mon.

DUTIES: Collects quantitative and qualitative data based on performance measures identified by the Guam STRIVE Project Evaluation Team to measure program effectiveness. In consultation with the University of Hawaii (UH) Data Manager and UH Evaluation Monitor, verifies completeness, appropriateness, and accuracy of printout data and traces sources of error in documents, data, and procedures; obtains corrected or new data; and makes appropriate adjustments and entries. Participates on the Guam STRIVE Project Evaluation Team to develop quantitative and qualitative measures that effectively measure the level of impact of project intervention activities and the number and population reach of proposed and/or implemented policy, systems, and environmental changes associated with program objectives and activities. Assists in the preparation of annual and monthly activity reports and other technical reports on program status as required by the contractor. Participates in all program-related face-to-face and conference call meetings with UH program team.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Associate’s Degree from an accredited community college (two (2) years (e.g., 48 credit hours) of college-level coursework may substitute for an Associate’s Degree). EXPERIENCE: One to three (1-3) years of work experience involving the processing of a variety of data for computer use and completion of courses in electronic data processing and clerical procedures. ABIL/KNOW/SKILLS: Working knowledge of personal computers and software, such as Epi Info, MS Excel and Word, IMPS, etc. Working knowledge of basic statistical software package. Ability to prepare reports. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
