Regular, Full-Time, RCUH Non-Civil Service position with the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, Pacific Center for Primary Care and Health Equity, located in Guam. Continuation of employment is dependent upon program/operational needs, satisfactory work performance, availability of funds, and compliance with applicable Federal/State laws.

MINIMUM MONTHLY SALARY: Salary commensurate with qualifications.

DUTIES: Manages the day-to-day program implementation of the Guam Worksite Wellness Program and the Community Gardens Program. Participates in all program-related meetings as a member of the University of Hawaii (UH)/Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) projects implementation and evaluation teams.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university in a health-related field (three to five (3-5) years of experience and training which provides minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities in a health-related field or health program administration may substitute for Bachelor’s Degree). EXPERIENCE: Three to five (3-5) years of experience in planning, developing, coordinating, implementing, or managing health-related or community-based health-related programs or projects. ABIL/KNOW/SKILLS: Basic knowledge of the principles of negotiating and managing Memorandums of Understanding (MOU). Working knowledge of personal computers and software such as Epi Info, MS Excel and Word, IMPS, etc. Working knowledge of basic statistical software package. Familiarity with Guam’s multicultural community structure and customs. Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, implement, and coordinate federal/local chronic disease projects. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to prepare reports. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
