The Patient Care Tech is a multi-skilled health professional who works interdependently with other health care professionals to provide quality health care to the patient. The Patient Care Tech is educated and trained to perform both administrative and clinical skills in the medical care environment, both inpatient and outpatient settings. Provides general assistance and support to nursing staff in rendering care and health related services. Provides initial patient triage, registration. Renders patient care within the scope of their training, including obtains height, weight, blood pressure, enemas and updates medication list on all patients and documents appropriately into patient's chart. Assists physicians with minor procedures and medical examinations as requested by physician. Ensures that charts are fully prepared with all patient information prior to appointment. Prepares exam rooms and restocks. Coordinates other activities as directed.
Certified Nurse Assistant or PCT
Previous experience required, at least one (1) year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
Excellend customer service skills
CPR Certification
Excellent computer skills
