AHS is seeking an experienced Support specialist for a per diem position with 8am-4pm shift available, including weekends as needed. An Associates Degree, Technical Degree or equivalent work experience is required. A+ and MCP (W2K or XP) certification or MCITP required: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician 7 or higher preferred. At least one year of customer service experience required. Knowledge of the Windows Operating Systems, and healthcare terminology is required. The candidate selected for this position will act as an ambassador of the department dealing with all of our customers in a professional manner, and provide first level technical support to the employees and other customers of Atlantic Health. Other responsibilities include: entering calls into the HP Service Manager tracking system; answer all email, voice mail, pages and written documents in a timely manner; provide assistance and troubleshooting including identification, resolution, escalation, referral and follow up with PC, network and application issues; monitor systems including servers, interfaces and print servers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; perform system backups per documented procedures; maintain an accurate on-call list for all Information Systems personnel; and provide timely resolution to all assigned calls and or tasks. Candidate must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
