s Hospital of Philadelphia Division of Oncology is currently seeking a full-time Hospitalist. Oncology hospitalists provide care for patients on the inpatient oncology and bone marrow transplant units. At night, they are responsible for the acute pediatric care needs of general oncology/neuro-oncology patients receiving chemotherapy. During the day and night shift, they are the front-line clinician for the bone marrow transplant patients. The hospitalist will manage the general pediatric issues of the patients and oncology-specific issues under the guidance of the oncology fellow and attending physician. These patients have a wide range of disease processes and acuity levels; no specific oncology training or knowledge is necessary to apply. The candidate must be board certified/board eligible in pediatrics and able to be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.
