Candidate must have the knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to fabricate modify, repair and assemble various piping and support structure installation in all types of fluid systems, drain systems, and wave guides in connection with ship alteration and repair.
This includes but is not limited to cutting, shaping and brazing, positioning, alignment and mounting of piping systems.
Work will be performed in multiple locations including machinery spaces, auxiliary space, engine rooms ships berthing, galleys, tanks, inside shop for pre-fabrication and other spaces as needed.
This position is for first and second shift on board USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) at Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
Must have high School/Vocational School Diploma or GED Certificate.
Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
