for its Sawmill in Warrenton, GA.



The Maintenance Planner will be the point of contact for execution of all work orders at the facility. The Planner will play a critical role in reviewing work requests through completion and then review each job for opportunities of improvement in the future. Additional responsibilities are:

Review work requests and plan work orders in MOE

Identify services and material requirements

Identify required permits and job hazards

Provide complete packages with all necessary documents such as: LOTTO, JHA, job plan evaluation, job work requirements (confined space, etc.) so millwrights will have the necessary information to efficiently complete work

Evaluate all work orders to maximize millwright’s efficiency by using the correct resources, equipment, work instructions, and parts.

Review all executed jobs for accuracy and to identify gaps for continuous improvement

Point of contact for execution of all work orders

Participate in all RCFA investigations to help improve equipment reliability

Provide complete job scopes for all contractor jobs

Develop small project plans, including non-BOM, list of required equipment / tools and resources

Maintain accurate equipment lists



High School Diploma or equivalent degree

Five (5) years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial setting

Working knowledge of effective preventative / predictive maintenance methodologies and processes

Must be able to read mechanical, structural and electrical drawings.

Proficient experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Excellent organizational, communication (oral and written), and planning skills

Intermediate or higher level proficiency with MS Word and Excel, and the ability to learn various PC-based operations and maintenance applications.

Must be able and willing to work in a manufacturing plant environment, including extended periods of time in noisy, non-air conditioned or unheated areas.

Must be able and willing to work safely, including wearing and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

The ability to provide technical staff and production team members detailed


instructions and information to perform their job correctly.

The ability to provide management and support staff with clear verbal instruction or guidance to perform their assigned roles.



Associate's degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Machine Design

Wood Products manufacturing experience

Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional

Experience with MOE, MP2, or SAP

Knowledge of ControlLogix / GE / Siemens

Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, sprockets, bearings, valves, pressure vessels, conveyors, and mechanical drive systems and components

Working knowledge of repair methods and tools used in an industrial maintenance environment.

Electrical maintenance experience, including knowledge of PLCs, A/C & D/C motors, and drive controls

Experience in welding, machining, design, and equipment rigging
