The PR/Communications Intern provides assistance to the Communications Director in support of PR and media activities, marketing programs, website maintenance, special events and presentations, newsletters, publications, and promotional materials

  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned;
  • Maintain media lists, including researching & verifying for accuracy;
  • Assemble press kits and presentation materials;
  • Assist with website and social media-related tasks;
  • Organize and maintain historical photo files & archives;
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining a central image library of current assets;
  • Assist with special events organization;
  • Assist with taking photographs for internal and external use;
  • Other related tasks and responsibilities may be assigned.
  • 16-24 hours per week, Monday through Thursday
  • Strong writing, research and communication skills
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Web savvy with working knowledge of social media channels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel)
  • Knowledge of/interest in digital photography and video production
