As a PR Manager in a part time role, working 3 days a week, this is a great opportunity to build your career, working within a lively, friendly and dynamic team, where the work is fast paced. You will play a vital role within a growing and evolving organization, to build Added Value brand awareness and significantly increasing Added Value's reputation as the source of marketing inspiration to the world's most iconic brands. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Create and implement social media outreach strategy
· Act as liaison between Added Value and external media (traditional and social)
· Develop various communication materials such as press releases, media lists (potential client targets) and other forms of communication
· Conduct media outreach for agency and clients
· Generate media awareness and build credibility with consumer and trade media
· Serve as brand representative to key industry organizations
· Develop and identify business opportunities via industry speaking events, and other key public relations activities/opportunities
· Foster relationships with business and marketing media community WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Minimum 5-7 years of public relations experience
· Experience in a marketing, brand consultancy and/or insights organization is a PLUS
· Key contacts/relationships in specific industries (CPG, automotive, etc.)
· Experience in non-traditional forms of PR (social, experiential, etc.) Skills: Proven track record of innovative program development in media and an influencer in social media, speaker placement and industry associations.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, openly, honestly and with integrity
· Professional, yet playful and creative persona, able to work with all levels within the Added Value and externally within the industry and client organizations
· Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and work effectively in a fast paced environment Qualifications: BA/BS degree or equivalent in communications, PR, marketing or related field
