Oversees the responsibilities and duties of all the office personnel so that the business of the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. Oversees the interviewing hiring, training and supervising the work of 9 patient coordinators. Handle all work schedules and keep track of use on matters including vacation time, sick-days, unpaid leave and paid time off. To ensure efficient flow of necessary to operate the clinic effectively by assigning business office tasks to patient coordinators and Educational support assistants.
Delegate responsibility to appropriate staff to ensure the day-to-day functions and assigned projects are carried out.
Personally manage the staff that is responsible for the specific tasks, assignments, programs, and events
Responsible for scheduling of staff to ensure appropriate coverage of daily operation in the pre doc clinic.
Management skills Decision making and or problem solving- Provide leadership and expertise to staff in resolving problems or concerns.
Communicate effectively in sensitive situations, and see both sides of a situation.
Responsible for the growth of the staff and assist in their goal development; which includes development, execution, and conducting staff meetings and training programs.
Design & apply staff communications programs in order to ensure ongoing positive up and down communications throughout the pre-doc clinic.
Solve student concerns either with booking special appointments, financial concerns, trouble with codes or patient communication help.
Assist students on how manage patients respecting appt time.
Financial/ Budgetary - Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of all business policies and procedures in the pre-doc clinic and implementation of new ideas. Including the management and ordering of supplies within the budget guidelines of the university.
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
