Provide guidance to students interested in careers in medicine and other health-related fields in the Pre-professional Advising Office. Advise students in a broad range of areas, including course selection, volunteer/internship opportunities, the application process, and professional goals. Assist in programs related to recruitment and retention; represent the College of Arts and Sciences and premedical programs at meetings with prospective students and their families. Manage an extensive student database and the office's application protocols. Draft comprehensive letters of evaluation for applicants to professional schools.
Master's degree, knowledge of Mac-based computer systems, FileMaker, and strong communication skills, and one to three years of experience in counseling, educational administration, or equivalent.
