A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in engineering, computer science, math or physics. For equivalency purposes, two (2) years of experience in the areas specified below is considered equivalent to one year of formal education/training. General Experience: Ten (10) years experience in conducting engineering development of engineering services and combat systems. Demonstrated qualities of leadership and depth of responsibility. Evidence of influence in navy policy and procedures as demonstrated through participation in planning meetings, program reviews and technical working groups. Must have demonstrated experience in program plans and schedules that are derived from master development schedules. Must have demonstrated experience in identifying technical and programmatic risk areas and in developing and implementing risk mitigation plans. Must have the ability to provide technical and budgetary briefings to Navy management. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written at the Executive Management level.
Specialized Experience: Must include four (4) years of experience in engineering experience on one or more of the systems listed below. Program management experience involving naval surveillance radars such as those listed in the statement of work.
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in surveillance radar technical projects. AN/SPS-48, ANSPS-67, AN/SPS-52, AN/SPS-73, AN/SPS-49, AN/SPS-55, AN/BPS-15, AN/SYS-2, AN/BPS-16, LCS, EDAP, AN/SPS-40, AN/SPS-64, AN/SPY-3, TRS 3D, Sea Giraffe, AN/SPS-74. Bridgemaster, MFR/VSR Dual Band, CDSA.
