United Hospice ofAnderson, part of the UHS-Pruitt Corporation family of companies, has an opportunity for a PRNChaplain/Bereavement Coordinator.
Job Description: Plan and coordinate bereavement services for United Hospice families and patients, as well as handling the day-to-day functions of devotional and spiritual counseling.
Essential Skill/Knowledge Functions:
Assess the spiritual needs/concerns of patients and families by direct communication with the individuals, by communication with the patients clergy, or by information obtained by other personnel.
Provide consultation, education, and support for other members of the Healthcare center and the community..
Conducts one-on-one visitation with residents.
Counsels residents and families when death is imminent.
Leadership of worship services.
Conducts devotional times.
Licensure/Certification/Education Requirements: Completion of a masters degree from an accredited theological school/seminary Appropriate endorsement within his/her denomination. Completion of 1-4 units in Clinical Pastoral Education
Other Training, Skills, and Experience Requirements:
Two years of ministerial experience with hospice experience preferred.
