The Product Manager of Relocations and Talent Deployment Services serves as the owner of Runzheimer’s Relocation/Talent Deployment products and services, including: relocation expense auditing services, information services to help employers compensate and/or reimburse relocating employees for differences in living costs,home finding, temporary living and other related expenses and costs associated with short-term assignments, and other talent deployment line extensions as developed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Lead the product planning process for products and services owned, including outlining a 3 year strategic plan that includes:

Assessment of the market opportunity, competitive threats, and conditions

Recommended product positioning/compelling value proposition

Expected financial results

Operational efficiencies required

Product and service changes/enhancements needed and rationale

2. Execute product road maps and deliver quarterly objectives. Roadmap projects will focus on initiatives that have a material favorable impact on product/service success (e.g., customer satisfaction, client retention, financial results, productivity savings) and may include changes to:

Product/service offerings


Internal product integration

Strategic partners

Operational processes

Product-related activities in support of sales & marketing

(Roadmap success will be monitored and measured quarterly based upon the following: 1) Leadership – top roadmap priorities will be identified and agreed upon before each quarter begins, with focus given to a small number of impactful initiatives; 2) Management Execution – the most critical projects are on time, on budget, and achieve expected business outcomes)

3. Serve as overall owner of all Product Roadmap items, ensuring that project ROI, resource estimates, scope of effort are clearly delineated and effectively executed with desired results.

4. Responsible for monitoring all aspects of product/service performance, including sales & marketing, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, revenue and profitability, supplier/partner performance, execution of product roadmaps and driving action to ensure the success of the product.

Required Skills

Required Experience

Bachelors Degree in Business, Human Resources, and/or other relevant degree program

5 - 10 years of progressively responsible experience in HR, product management or new product development

Candidates with previous experience in compensation, staffing, and/or relocation program management are preferred

Strong analysis and attention to detail required

Experience working with “software as a service” solutions and information technology experts

Excellent communication skills

Strong customer service-orientation and listening skills to translate customer feedback into actions

Ability to evaluate market conditions and customer feedback, anticipate where markets are heading and build a business case to advance a product, service, or business unit for success

Demonstrated success at:
defining where change is needed, selling the change, and then executing on change initiatives
