Project Manager - Registered Dietitian in Charlotte, NC

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian for this unique opportunity to manage impactful enterprise wide projects for for the Region encompassing the North and South Carolinas. Carolinas Health System (CHS) projects will be the primary focus over the next several years. Each project is carefully selected to achieve a significant return for the company and add value and growth while measuring our progress and outcomes. This position will be tasked with owning the complete life cycle of any CHS-Morrison major project and drive the process from start to finish. Projects include CHS kitchen, menu development and roll-out, ACC role, and retail refresh strategy as examples. This unique position will allow your management skill to soar as you manage resources, budgets, and people throughout the project process.


Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
5 years' experience in Clinical Nutrition or Food Service Operations management in hospital settings
Experience of managing large, complex enterprise projects, particularly those involving a medium to significant degree of change across the organization
Effectively build teams and delegate tasks/responsibilities appropriately
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs; Project Manager progam experience a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with a positive, can-do attitude
Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
Excellent effective oral and written communication skills
Travel as needed across the NC and SC region
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with all stakeholders, including senior executives, sponsors, business owners and field operations
Build teams to meet the resource needs required of each project
Create and execute end-to-end project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Proactively communicate project details across multiple departments in a clear and concise manner
Coordinate project activities between team members, while maximizing their productivity to achieve project goals
Build internal and external business relationships vital to the success of the project
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
Identify, assess and minimize risks throughout the project life cycle
Create and maintain all project documentation pertinent to the project, including but not limited to, status reports, work plans, presentations
Understand team dynamics and adapt project management methodology as needed to ensure project success
Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change
Assist in developing project management best practices
